On 12 November 2005, NENDA had a stall at the
"Choose Health" conference organised by Community Action on Health.
This was held at St James Park, the home of Newcastle United Football Club.
On arrival at the venue the tables were set out with white table cloths
NENDA was allocated it's table next to the one for Northumbria Police, (so we had to behave)
As Russell was unable to make it, Graeme stepped into the breach to make sure that the NENDA stall was staffed.
The conference was introduced by Nick Forbes and the guest speaker was the leader of the Newcastle Primary Care Trust. This section was hampered by technical difficulties with the microphone.
For lunch there was a vegetarian buffet, although some ham sandwiches were brought out by error.
Either side of lunch, a series of workshops on Health issues were held.
